Well, cherry is obviously about his ex-girlfriend Camille Rowe, but I think there is also more meaning to this song than that.

Harry is singing about his ex-girlfriend and her new lover.

"don't you call him what you used to call me" refers to what she called him when they were in a relationship and how he doesn't want her calling her new lover what she called him. This shows that Harry is being selfish and hates himself for it.

Harry confesses that he sees Camille as at her best but he doesn't want to accept that she has moved on and he hasn't quite yet. "I'm selfish so I'm hating it" links to what I said earlier, that he hates that she's moved on so fast and is selfish for thinking that.

"I just miss your accent and your friends, did you know I still talk to them" this line is Harry trying to make Camille jealous saying he still talks to her friends.

Then this leads on to a petty comment by our shady king "does he take you walking around his parent's gallery".

Now I LOVE this sort of thing in songs and this line is obviously a dig at her new lover and basically asking her if he's treating her right as harry still cares for Camille and wants the best for her.

OVERALL, this song is so cute and makes me so upset because you can feel how broken he was by this breakup.

Especially the screams at the end of the song as they are so raw and real and you can feel harry was in agonising pain while writing this song as he really was in love.

The voicemail at the end is just the icing on the top and makes this song feel so real and paints the image of what true love is really like and how you feel while being in love with someone.
