My interpretation of John Denver's song Fly Away, is about an old woman who no longer sees anything familiar and has lived her life happily. She is looking for familiar things such as love, children laughing and playing, but as her days are getting close to ending she is about ready to fly away to heaven like the hymn I'll Fly Away
