Possibly Gaga is using sex as a metaphor for life. Maybe "the road of life" with the man she loves has not always been smooth and peaceful. She could have experienced bumps, potholes, sharp curves, detours, "abortion", ditches, bands of rancid gypsies, "delusions", burning buildings, flat tires, abuse, a type of washboard terrain, divorces, really steep hills, death, "addiction", roadkill, wars, "incest", a spot of pain, hurricanes, cliffs, low-flying nazi jackal buzzards, tollbooths, etc, etc. These things can occur in any one of our lives. As we make our way past these things they slowly fade to the corner of our working eye. Often we rubber-neck to look again and blurt, "What was THAT? Splattered moist bovine entrails or the past several years?" Gaga is saying that she doesn't need everything to be "perfect" with her man all of the time. She LIKES it exciting.
