- I always though it is reffering to 9/11 where suicidal terrorist carried out an attack to the U.S. These people were were the part of the al-Qaeda, they were killing in the name of their God. So Gerard says they make the unforgivable sin avaliable to people just because it's for a good cause , from their point of view and killing innocent people just because they don't want to be the same as them. Also gave me the idea to think about what happened in Romeo and Juliet where she wanted to end her life bc she wouldn't want to marry Paris ,as her last attempt Juliet was asking for help from Friar Lawrence,who gave the idea of the sleeping potion trick which lead to the death of the star crossed lovers.

- This is the answer what the leader would say to a person who is deciding to join or not. Come and join us ,because we will help you with your addictions ,take all your pain away. Even though joining a religious group won't make the world a better place ,faith does it only. They will create these groups with people who's thinking as one, like a cult, they are taking orders from the leaders and carrying out all those terrible attacks. They are almost laughing at our face who are atheist ,or to those who are trying to make a difference in the world , trying to wake people up from the sleep, that you cannot kill that you did not create. Ergo they created all of this mess and we have no power over them. And you can even fire at them they are almost untouchable.

- That's the response of the atheist. Who is gonna save him/her when he believes in no God. And also reffering to all the homosexual and queer people who are judged by believers, who's going to save them ,even if they believe in God,they can't practise their religion in a church for example bc they 'll think they are evil(true example unfortunatly)

-He says he follows his path. After Gerard saw 9/11 from the train ,he had an existantial crisis about his life. His purpose is open up people eyes with his lyrics, even though he wants to escape from these thought and memories, he would like to have a different base for his creativity. Unfortunetly trauma fuels creativity and helps to cope with it but Gerard is tired of people who are not better than the persons who caused 9/11 are taking a chance to lure him in. He wants to lead people with a different cause but in the end it's not optional.
