Whether “we” realize it or not, we all wrote these lyrics, because we’re all merely fragmented versions of the same singular conscious being.

“It’s funny how I find myself in love with you”
-References the ironic nature of love, hate, etc., due to any form of duality being the construct of the one conscious being.

“If I could buy my reasoning, I’d pay to lose. One half won’t do.”
-Imagine yourself as the singular conscious being you are; or “God” if you prefer. You can, and do absolutely anything imaginable; pure untethered creation. Yet everything you do is only possible within your own conscious reality. Meaning even though you may be God, you can’t know anything outside your realm of existence. You know absolutely everything within your reality because it has all been created by yourself. The only unknown is any aspect about the creation of your own existence. You might as well consider yourself as a light switch that was turned on and can’t be turned off. So the option to “buy your reasoning of existence” is moot if it doesn’t also come with the ability to turn yourself off. Infinite creation in infinite realities leads you to crave the only thing you’re unable to achieve; Non-existene.
