First off, I think it needs to be said that this is a cover of a Dolly Parton song, but I think Jack may have purposely wanted this to have a bisexual undertone to it.

Basically it's just about someone pleading Jolene not to take their man away from them, because they know she is perfectly capable of doing so.

It's also implied that Jolene would only be motivated to take him away for her own sexual needs, but the singer is actually in love with him, which is why she doesn't want him to leave.
