The tone of this song is unknowing because Avicii sings “and I didn’t know I was lost” This means that he didn’t know he was lost so he was wandering around and wasn’t that prepared for life in general. Another thing he sings is “All this time I was finding myself” which is saying he didn’t know who he was. Later, he sings “So wake me up when it's all over” which is saying he doesn’t want to be in life with all the chaos surrounding him and he doesn’t want to know. His lyrics all say that he does not want to be here over and over again.
