I feel like its about a mother figure who maybe left his life and he's stuck with a dad who is abusive or just doesn't pay attention to him.

something he probably didnt get to experience as a kid because he doesnt have anybody to do that for him

waiting for her to arrive because maybe she said she would be back.

appears as having a mother would complete his life and make it how it was when she was a part of his life

the man upstairs referring to his dad, could be abusive and addicted to drugs or smoking. and saying he has fire in his eyes would mean the dad, he gets angry.

and basically he's sitting by himself waiting by himself with nobody to talk to
