This song feels to me like he's met someone he connects with so much, and because of these intense emotions, he loves to make love to her ~ it's not an act, it's an event. They connect, they can't get enough of each other, and he can't get enough of sharing a piece of heaven with her, whether it be physically or emotionally.

When he compares his feelings for her to other relationships, it feels like he shares heaven with her every time they are together, every time they make love they share something he's never felt before. There is a difference between making love and having "sex". In some dysfunctional relationships, someone punishes the other by denying or controlling sex, or maybe someone feels like the other person doesn't enjoy it and is doing it to fulfill a need or a sense of responsibility. Making love is amazing when you both feel so much for each other ~ there no longer exists a barrier between men and women. Women want to make love just as much as a men.

He's met someone that he connects with and loves to "make love" to. "Making love" to someone, who means so much to you, is the closest to heaven that you can feel...you share a moment in heaven together. You are not embarrassed or inhibited or ever feel like you aren't wanted by the other.
