Having been rescued by God from all forms of abuse, drug addiction, homelessness, criminal activities and mental illness I became clean, sober and Baptized and have been studying the Bible so that I can perform services at the jail to help other women like I was helped by my, now, Godfather, I learned what this song meant. God will find every lost sheep, every lost soul, any one of us who stray. He will never abandon a single one of us, no matter how far we have strayed, or how dark the path we walk, nor how many times we deny Him or lose faith, He is always, and will always, find us, be it through subtle signs, blatantly loud messages, or beautiful music like this. No matter what we have done, it's never too late to be rescued for God is ever merciful, His patience is timeless, and His love is unconditional. The day He rescued me I finally knew what it was to truly be loved and I thank Him every day for such an amazing blessing!
