Many people think this is a song about a girl that are being played by a guy that only wants to have sex with her when he is drunk. But it's not how i analyze the lyrics at all.
She is singing "then love until WE bleed" its not just her thats madly in love.
Its about a very selfdestructive relationship. They both have different kind of problems, the guy with alcohol. "Your'e drunk, you need it." "stay gone. stay clean"
They have so strong feelings for each other and much attraction between them so they keep on seeing each other even if they mostly feel like shit. "If cupid got a gun then he's shooting" their love hurts. But they stay together and love until they bleed. Though she feels numb and stupid, she's is staying. She wants out but she can't cause ther feelings is so strong.
I love this song because I think it is about real love, and love between two people that still have each other even if they got problems. They fight a lot and things is shit but they are "bound to linger on" they feel like they are meant to be, nothing can come between them. She stop caring about her self, her love for her "drug" is stronger. And when you really is in love thats what happends, sadly but true.
