Teddy Bear is a song about one of Crybaby’s relationships that was loving and caring. It all seemed perfect until further into the relationship, where Crybaby started to find knives and crumpled/ruined photographs of her, and became terrified. It had turned into an abusive relationship.

‘Teddy Bear, you were my teddy bear. You were comforting and quiet, how did love become so violent?’ The boy was sweet at first, she doesn’t understand why he changed so much and became abusive. ‘Teddy bear, you were my teddy bear. Everything was so sweet, until you tried to kill me.’
