This song tells the story of a married man who met a pretty girl at a billiards hall, then went to a motel with her for a night of passionate sex.

This didn't have a happy ending for him, however- when he woke up, she was gone. She was a scam artist who'd picked him up just to rob him.

She stole all the money in his wallet. Worse yet, the man's wife found out, and she left him.

Yet, even though everything ended in disaster, the man seems to have enjoyed the night immensely, and almost thinks it was worth the trouble it brought!
