The Dumb Song Lyrics Meaning

My interpretation about this song is that it is about rebelling and not caring for what other people think, and the part where they say "But like you said, Don't look at me, cause i got nothin in my head" which is about other people telling them that they are too "dumb" and now they are acknowledging what people say and looking at the bright side of things.
